Electronic waste drop off in Ottawa

If you have old electronic items you know longer use but don't know how to dispose of them safely, Junk That Funk is holding an e-waste drop off on Saturday July 21.

The removal and recycling firm will be at St. Andrew’s Church, 2 Mulkins St., Stittsville and the Kanata Life Centre, 990 Teron Rd., Kanata between the hours of 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Residential, industrial and commercial e-waste material will be accepted.

The City of Ottawa reminds residents that most electronic items will not be picked up as part of its regular garbage collection, so these e-waste days are a perfect opportunity to dispose of electronics that you now longer use.
