Westfest is celebrating its 15th anniversary this summer and it will be doing so in style.
The free music and arts festival will be re-locating to the Tom Brown Arena and adjacent park and will showcase more than 30 acts and 100 artists over the three day festival, beginning June 8.
Expect to see and hear a wide range of art and music.
Organizers are also including an Indigenous pavilion, a family fun area, a youth and community stage, food trucks and after parties.
One of the advantages of the new location are the multiple transit options. The Bayview Transitway and O-Train stop there. Cyclists and walkers can use the Trillium path to get there and the festival will offer a free bike park. If you want to bring your car, you can park on one of the nearby streets.
This is a rain or shine event, so come prepared!
