Last call for biking & swimming
This weekend is your last chance to hit the beach or ride your bike along one of the (car free) National Capital Commission (NCC) parkways.
Despite the wet summer Ottawa experienced, the parkways were full of bikers, inline skaters, walkers and runners on car-free Sundays.
Then NCC reports there were 76 days of swimming at all area beaches.
Don't despair though, even though you may have to put your bike or swimsuit away soon, fall colours and great hiking are just around the corner!
