Ottawa Bluesfest organizers announced the 2017 lineup today and like previous years, it's a mixed bag for music lovers in the nation's capital.

Country singer (and Donald Trump fan) Toby Keith opens the festival on July 6 and middle-aged rocker Tom Petty closes it out on July 16.

Blues fans will want to check out Gary Clark Jr., Carolyn Wonderland and Saskatoon's Wide Mouth Mason, among others.

Tickets go on sale Thursday February 23. Check the Bluesfest website for more information.
