Ottawa Senators moving downtown

The Ottawa Senators NHL team will be moving downtown – possibly as early as 2020/21. The plan to develop Lebreton Flats was awarded to the Senators – backed RendezVous Lebreton Group by the National Capital Commission (NCC) yesterday. Besides the new arena, the winning group plans to build 4,000 housing units, commercial space, a park and a revitalized aqueduct, which people will be able to skate on in the winter.
